| Ive been playing quite a bit for the past month, since ive had lots of free time again. ive gotten back to the AA pub owning stage, at least on the map called Impact that i play all the time. my 2 year hiatus had made me pretty rusty. ive tried to stay anonymous so i havent talked to too many people although ive met some. ive been playing on the [anti hackers] clan server alot cause i get a killer ping in there, but they accused me of hacking tonight so i guess i wasnt as good of friends with them as i thought haha.
anyway, i was thinking a little bit lately about the olden days and thought it would be fun to play with some of you guys again. and ive gotten the bug to recruit new people too for some reason haha, even tho im only gonna have like another month where i have exra time to piss away. i probably wont recruit anyone... but i would like to play with yall. im willing even to download xfire, if thats the only way to see if anyone is online. just let me know. ive been playing a couple hours most days for the past couple weeks.
oh, and because Quietus_Legionnaire was too long to fit, and Legionnaire was already taken, my new name is Eriannoigel. i was really pissed about it at first but the name has grown on me.

| Hey JM
I've been playing some AA3 whenever the weather is bad, because we're having a pretty good summer here and that's a rare thing. But I still get to play a few nights a week though. But I also have a lot of other games my friends gave me, so I'm playing those too...
I'm mainly playing bridge, because my computer plays that one the best, I think. I only tried Bridge, Pipeline & Alley. On Pipeline I don't know what was going on. It was insanely laggy for me, but I'm still wondering if it was my computer or the fact that the game was really buggy at the beginning when I played that map. The game is still buggy, but you can also tell that the new patches fix some major bugs every time. My personal favorite bug is where you are stuck in crouch mode. The cool thing is you can still move at normal walking speed, and you can also run at the normal speed but you're in crouch, so it's very hard for the enemies to hit you. So funny!
I don't really use Xfire. I usually just get on AA and play a map. I haven't really figured anything else out about tracking players. I'll look into that and see if I can find you when you're playing.

| Oh, and you don't have to make your name Quietus_Legionnaire because there's an option where you can just type in the name of your clan in your Account Settings in-game. And then you just use Legionnaire, so when you're in a server it'll say Legionnaire of Quietus in the information menu... | |

| cool saint, let me know what you come up with i havent played much bridge, when i have played the rounds seemed to take forever and of course i always rush and die in the first 20 seconds so it got kinda old. but id definately be down for trying it again! as for the Legionnaire thing, that was actually what i tried first, but Legionnaire was already taken, as was Legionaire, Legion, Legionary. I could have been like Legionnire69 or something like that, but i think names with numbers tacked on the end are just goofy. so i went with Eriannoigel of Quietus. for awhile i was Eriannoigel of Suteiuq but i wanted to see if anyone would recognize/remember Quietus. so far no one has, or at least cared enough to say ' hey i remember you guys' hah. anyway, hopefully ill catch up with you soon. what name do you play under? im usually playing on the ANti-hackers Impact server (Although i should check to see if im banned from there now lol), tho ill play in other ones from time to time, just anywhere i have a decent ping and there is a good amount of people so i can kill more. | |

| I'm just playing under Quietus_Saint. I just played some Impact, and I didn't lag at all. Pretty fun map too. Easy to figure out, and a lot faster than Bridge. I took me about 4 deaths to figure the map out and know where to go (or better where not to go lol). After that I felt like I was playing Urban all over again. Except you don't have to actually look at the objective. That's a much better way to take an objective. The mapstructure is a lot like Urban. 3 main ways to go and a bit of alleys and such in between them. Good map. I'll probably start playing it some more.
I tried to figure out a way to add a buddy, but couldn't find one. I guess they don't have one yet. I can't even add you on my website account, like you used to. And aaotracker (now called battletracker) can't track in AA3. But they updated that website pretty good. Hadn't been there in months, and it looks pretty cool. I also noticed that Mario is still whoring Urban on AA2. STOP LIVING IN THE PAST, MAN!

| hey saint, im downloading MSN messener right now, do you still have that? i could try logging in anytime im gonna play for an appreciable amount of time, and if you see me on you can message me and we can go from there. we can give that a shot anyway until we figure something else out. i dont remember what my old MSN name was tho... i think it was QLegionnaire. i dunno ill see
as for mario still playing aa2... i didnt even know they still had servers haha. i do miss the m24 on urban tho, that was probably the most fun thing in that game to me. nothing like embarassing people repeatedly in CQB with a bolt action rifle haha. matt tell him to play aa3 with us, like saint said Impact is just Urban part 2! thats why i like it so much anyway

| Mario is one of the many people that didn't like AA3 before it came out. All those people are still playing AA2. I'm just wondering how long they can keep it alive.
JM, msn is way too heavy nowadays to run while gaming. It'll only interfere with your game. Just use Xfire, it's much lighter. I'm highercause on there. I'll start logging back in on Xfire when I'm gonna play some games.
Oh, and MATT! I MISSED YOU, MAN!

| Yeah, we did! Hehe. It was laggy as hell, but I noticed I lagged less in the beginning. That's why I was just rushing all over the place. Hehe. Impact is a good map, and it really improves my cqb-skills. I shot a few people from distance without the use of my aimpoint. BOOYAH!
We'll do it again soon, JM. Good times will come! :-)

| yeah so, i think the clan that threatened to ban me actually did, cause everytime i try to go to their server i get pb kicked before it fully loads up. at first i thought it was a pb problem, but it only happens on that server, and coincidentally only after they trheatened to ban me. i would care less but its one of the only populated Impact servers that i get a really good ping in (thus why i usually do really well and get accused of cheating).
its the 'anti-hackers' clan btw. I registered for their forums and will be sending a polite message investigating the matter. hopefully it gets resolved cordially, but ive had it up to my ears with bullshit. hopefully theyre a reasonable clan, for their sake

| I'm not sure if Jonathan is still playing anything.. I haven't spoken with him in over a year, I think. But I'm guessing he's out of school by now, so he'll probably be busy with a job or maybe university...
Anyway, good games this week, JM. It was fun. It is official though: my computer can't handle AA3 very well. As long as I'm fighting 1v1 fights all round, it is an acceptable amount of lag I have to deal with. But as soon as there are 3 or 4 people shooting, I can pretty much assume I'm a dead man. So basically, I need a new computer. I was planning on getting a new computer a few months ago, since with the newest games like Prototype (and now AA3) I would get major lag even on medium graphics, and still some trouble on low graphics. We'll see. I have the money for a new computer, but I just don't want to spend it on a new one yet. Maybe I'll start a fundraiser called "Saint's new computer is important for everyone". You think anyone will buy that? GIMME YO' MONEY FOOLS!
