Yeah, I think so because I didn't see Britney anywhere in the video. I thought it was this artsy video with a meaning like 'we can make a Britney video without Britney', but I guess it could've been porn. And now you mention it, the german dungeon scene was kinda weird for a music video...

Matt, could be so many different things to explain that matt. Saint probably would know more than I would because he travels to Italy more than any of us combined. Taking a guess I'd say: I mean could be safe sex practice, In 2000? the WHO rated Italy being 2/3rd for best health care, statistically lower probability of the disease in X area, better immune systems, better health lifestyles, people actually care about the spread of the disease rather than other country's, lower rates of L/G crowd[not all countries/areas but in some places it does show a higher statistical value], drug use[paying for X product for sex], less hookers, etc, etc.

I've read that article and I think it's about right. Italian chicks never bother with condoms. I think it's mostly because std's are not very common in Italy.
